Its work principle is that the pressure roller compacts the paper to make the paper smoother and flatter.

Calender bowl: The calender machine is made of various calender bowls. These bowls are installed in the same frame, forming a vertical line arrangement. The lower roller is the driving roller, and the remaining rollers are driven by friction. The quantity and arrangement mode of the calender bowl are determined according to the speed of the paper production machine and the type of paper, usually 3 to 8 rollers.
Frame: The frame is used to support the entire calender bowl and other parts to ensure the stability and accuracy of the equipment.
Scraper: The scraper is used to help paper transport between the calender bowl, ensuring the paper could be the equal application of pressure during a pass through the calender bowl.
Compression system: Compression systems usually adopt hydraulic loading devices, which could provide enough pressure to ensure paper achieves ideal flatness during the calender process. The maximum load can reach 330 kN/m².
Cooling system: To eliminate heat that is generated during the calender process, the two rollers at the bottom of the calender machine are equipped with a ventilation cooling system. It ensure equipment can operate stable operation in high temperature.
Control system: It includes an electrical control system and hydraulic system, which is used to precisely adjust the pressure and speed and ensure calender effect and quality.
